The boy who grew up in the fields

Dhananjay Khaire didn't grow up in a boardroom. He grew up in the red soil of Baramati, Maharashtra — watching his father coax life from the earth before dawn broke, understanding the rhythm of seasons before he understood algebra.

The engineer who never forgot the farm

Dhananjay went on to become a software engineer — building systems, solving complex problems, thinking in scale. But no matter how far his career took him, the farmer's instinct stayed alive inside him.

He watched the food industry drift further from nature. Chemical shortcuts. Fake flavours. Packaged foods that looked healthy but weren't. And he watched Indians — millions of them — slowly lose the connection to the food that had kept their ancestors strong for generations.
